Perimenopause and menopause are times of deep change—physically, emotionally, and hormonally. But with the right guidance, they can also become powerful opportunities for growth, healing, and renewal.

Empowered Change: Understanding and Caring for Your Body and Mind Through Perimenopause and Beyond is a 3-hour in-person workshop in Madison, WI designed to help women navigate hormonal changes with clarity, confidence, and support.

Led by a team of women’s health professionals—including Jamie Pekarek Krohn (Senior Psychotherapist from Clear Path Counseling & Wellness), Simone Glinberg, MD (Board-Certified Endocrinologist from Simone Glinberg, MD), and Kari Mysker, Certified Women’s Health & Fitness Coach from Ether Wellness—this immersive experience blends expert education with mind-body practices, nervous system regulation tools, and community connection to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered through midlife and beyond.

Whether you’re in the early stages of perimenopause, approaching menopause, or adjusting to post-menopause, this workshop will give you the knowledge, tools, and confidence to care for your changing body, support your hormones, and reclaim your energy.

Meet Your Guides!

Jamie Pekarek Krohn, LPC, CYT

Jamie has been a psychotherapist for over 20 years, currently practicing at Clear Path Counseling and Wellness in Madison, WI. She works with a wide range of clients, but specializes in relational issues, life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, stress management, and eating disorders. You can read more about her here.

Simone Glinberg, MD

Dr. Glinberg is board-certified in endocrinology and internal medicine and has worked in Madison for more than 20 years treating patients with complex medical issues. Dr. Glinberg is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, the Menopause Society, and the Institute of Functional Medicine. Dr. Glinberg attended Rush Medical College and completed her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in endocrinology at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. In addition, Dr. Glinberg has training in lifestyle medicine and functional medicine.

Kari Mysker

Kari is a certified Master Trainer, women’s health & fitness coach, and the founder of Ether Wellness, a studio dedicated to supporting women through every season of life. With advanced certifications in personal training, nutrition coaching, yoga, and Pilates, Kari brings a deeply integrative approach to movement, stress management, and well-being.

Her specialized education in hormone health, nervous system regulation, and peri-to-post menopause wellness allows her to create personalized, evidence-informed strategies for women navigating physical and emotional shifts. Kari is passionate about helping women rebuild strength, restore balance, and reconnect with their bodies in ways that feel empowering and sustainable.
