Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Women’s Strength + Embodiment Coaching FAQs
What is Women's Strength & Embodiment Coaching?
Women’s Strength & Embodiment Coaching is a personalized approach that combines strength training, movement, stress management, habit support, and self-awareness practices to help you feel stronger, more energized, and more connected to your body.
Unlike traditional fitness programs that focus only on workouts, this approach looks at the bigger picture. Your energy, stress levels, sleep, nutrition, hormones, mindset, and daily habits all influence how you feel and the results you’re able to achieve.
At Ether Wellness, coaching is designed to help you build strength, create sustainable habits, improve body awareness, and develop a deeper understanding of what your body needs so you can make decisions that support your long-term well-being.
What is the difference between a personal trainer and a Women's Strength & Embodiment Coach?
A personal trainer primarily focuses on exercise programming, technique, and helping you improve fitness and strength.
A Women’s Strength & Embodiment Coach looks beyond workouts alone. While strength training is an important part of the process, coaching also explores factors such as stress, recovery, nutrition, sleep, nervous system health, energy levels, and the unique changes women experience throughout different life stages.
The goal isn’t simply to help you exercise more. It’s to help you understand your body, create sustainable habits, and develop a lifestyle that supports your strength, energy, and overall well-being.
Is coaching right for me?
Coaching may be a good fit if you’re looking for personalized guidance, accountability, and support to help you reach your health and wellness goals.
Whether you prefer individualized support through one-on-one coaching, the connection and accountability of a semi-private coaching experience, or the flexibility of online coaching, there are options designed to meet you where you are.
Many women who work with me feel overwhelmed by conflicting health information, struggle to stay consistent on their own, or know what they “should” be doing but have difficulty putting it into practice.
You don’t need to be fit, experienced, or have everything figured out before starting. Coaching is designed to meet you where you are and provide a clear path forward based on your goals, lifestyle, and current season of life.
Can coaching help if I'm already doing pretty well but feel stuck?
Absolutely.
Many of the women I work with are already exercising, eating fairly well, and making an effort to take care of themselves. Others spent years relying on habits and routines that worked well in their 20s and 30s, only to discover that their body, energy, priorities, and needs have changed over time into their 40s and 50s. Some have plenty of ideas and good intentions but aren’t quite sure where to start or what to focus on first.
They aren’t starting from zero—they simply feel like something is missing.
Sometimes that means refining a routine, improving consistency, navigating hormonal changes, managing stress more effectively, building confidence with strength training, or creating a plan that better aligns with their current season of life.
Coaching provides an outside perspective, personalized guidance, and accountability to help you move through plateaus and continue growing rather than spinning your wheels.
What happens during a coaching session?
Every session is personalized based on your goals and current needs.
Sessions focus primarily on strength training and movement, and may also include mobility work, yoga-inspired movement, breathwork, stress-management practices, habit coaching, or conversations around challenges you’re currently navigating.
You’ll also have space to discuss wins, obstacles, questions, and adjustments that may be needed along the way.
The goal is to provide the support, guidance, and accountability that will help you make meaningful progress while building confidence in your ability to care for yourself long-term.
Why is the coaching experience six months?
Real, lasting change takes time.
While it’s possible to learn new exercises or receive advice in a few sessions, meaningful transformation typically requires consistency, practice, and support over a longer period.
The six-month coaching experience allows time to build strength, create sustainable habits, navigate challenges as they arise, and develop a deeper understanding of your body’s needs. It also provides the accountability and support needed to turn short-term actions into long-term lifestyle changes.
Rather than chasing quick fixes, the focus is on creating results that continue long after our time working together ends.
Can coaching support perimenopause, menopause, stress, burnout, and nervous system regulation?
Yes!
Many women seek coaching because they feel more tired, stressed, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their bodies than they used to. Hormonal changes, busy schedules, caregiving responsibilities, career demands, and life transitions can all impact how you feel physically and emotionally.
While coaching is not medical treatment, it can provide education, support, and practical strategies to help you better understand your body and create habits that support your energy, strength, recovery, and overall well-being.
Through strength training, movement, stress-management practices, nervous system support, lifestyle coaching, and personalized guidance, you’ll learn how to work with your body rather than against it.

Do I need to be working with a coach to become a member?
Nope!
While a membership is included in your 6-month 1:1 or semi-private coaching package, the Studio Membership is available if you’re simply looking for a supportive space to move, work, and recharge.
Some members use the studio primarily for self-guided workouts, while others enjoy having a quiet place to work remotely, read, relax, or connect with the community.
Membership can complement coaching, but it is not required.
Can I use the studio if no classes or staff are present?
Absolutely. In fact, it’s encouraged!
Members have access to the studio seven days a week from 6:00 AM–9:00 PM using secure member entry.
This allows you to utilize the space when it works best for your schedule, whether that’s an early morning workout, a midday break, or an evening reset.
While staff hours vary, members can enjoy the studio independently during access hours.
Is the Studio Membership right for me?
The Studio Membership may be a great fit if you’re looking for more than a place to exercise.

Others appreciate having a flexible wellness space available throughout the week that supports both their personal and professional lives.
